King’s Plum Pie
#b3107a
Warm plum-red anchor with richer, softer saturation
About King’s Plum Pie
I'm looking at King's Plum Pie on a dark UI mockup and it reads like a plum-red that got its attitude softened. It's deeper and richer than the more seductively light Bottleicelli, with less cool, less translucent feel. Compared to Infectious Love, it holds onto its red center instead of pushing more pink. And unlike Fabric of Love, it's not as warm and intimate, it leans slightly moodier and more wine-toned.
The sweet spot for this shade is where you want "featured" energy without that loud, urgent push. I use it for dating app profile highlights, beauty review highlights, and music streaming playlist badges where you want the tap target to feel curated. It also works well for fashion e-comm promo tiles on black or charcoal, because it stays clearly red-magenta, but with a calmer, heavier weight than Botticelli.
Pair it with off-white, toasted sand, or deep plum neutrals. If your layout already has strong magentas, give this one space so it doesn't blur into the background.
