About Jade Sea
On a sheet of frosted glass, Jade Sea feels like a calm breath you can still measure. It's lighter than Antiguan and Bay, but it doesn't go thin. The undertone stays distinctly green-cool, so it reads like seawater in shade rather than a generic "soft blue." Compared to Ice Cube, it keeps more teal body and warmth, not that crisp, winter-clean snap.
I use it when the interface needs a watery, airy surface without turning into "look at the whitespace" territory. Think wellness dashboards, editorial photo layouts, and product UI where you want clarity in the background but still want the color to hold steady beside white and pale neutrals. It pairs cleanly with deeper teals and soft grays, and it's the one you reach for when you want lightweight presence rather than the ground-your-layout feel Bay brings.
Quirk: over very bright whites it can look slightly more mint, so in light-mode header bands I'd rather pull in a touch more blue from the palette to keep it consistent.
