Mauve It
#bb4466
Soft mauve red for balanced, calmer UI accents
About Mauve It
I keep Mauve It on a different shelf than the rose-reds. It doesn't read like a straight blush swipe, and it doesn't go as rose-forward as Cry of a Rose. Instead, it lands in that in-between zone where red stays present, but the mauve undertone softens the edges so it feels more poised than urgent.
Compared with Extravagant Blush, it holds onto a calmer, cooler lean and a cleaner saturation, so it won't tip into coral-peach. And compared with Dark Pink, it's not as purely red or as dialed-up in warmth. I use Mauve It for secondary highlights where you want guidance and polish: promo headers in retail apps, loyalty and subscription surfaces in fintech, and step labels or inline confirmations in consumer healthcare flows. It's also my go-to for badges and section accents in onboarding when red needs to guide attention without feeling like an alarm.
Pair it with crisp whites or cool grays. Warm creams can pull it more pink, and you start losing that controlled mauve depth.
