Dark Pink

About Dark Pink
I think of Dark Pink as the red you see after someone turns the dial down on sweetness. It's noticeably darker and more saturated than Cabaret and Beet Wave, but it still feels lighter and airier than Beetroot Purple's heavier, deeper punch. The undertone reads warmer and more purely red than the mauve-leaning neighbor, so it doesn't pull toward berry or purple.
For dashboards and finance apps, I use it when I need the one you reach for to flag something real without going fully emergency. Think billing failures, approval-required states, fraud review queues, and medication or lab update panels where the UI needs urgency with clarity. It holds its identity against cool grays, and unlike the lighter pink family members it doesn't drift into a softer, more hesitant look.
Quick pairing note: it stays clean with near-black text and crisp whites, but if you put it on warm creams for long screens, it can start to feel a bit aggressive.
