Tandoori

Tandoori orange-red, softer than Too Hot to Handle
About Tandoori
Tandoori looks like a spice-stain on terracotta. It sits more muted than Too Hot to Handle, so it doesn't feel like it's turning its brightness up mid-scroll, and it's less grounded than Barbecue, so you don't get that settled rust-wrap. Compared to Bruschetta, it's slightly lighter and more orange-forward, with a smoother red-orange warmth that reads more "cooked" than "browned."
I use it when the interface needs orange presence but not the alertness of the hottest reds. It's great for tandoori-red UI accents like status chips, callout links, and promo ribbons in ecommerce and food ordering, and it holds up in dashboards and finance apps where you want warmth that still feels tidy. On marketing pages, it's a strong choice for recipe branding, retail campaign tiles, and hero accents in app stores for beauty and hospitality.
Quirk: on very cool, desaturated backgrounds it can feel a touch more assertive, so I usually pair it with creams or warm grays to keep the temperature from snapping.
