Vegas Gold looks like a late-afternoon olive leaf caught in a soft studio light. It's noticeably lighter than the mossy greens around it, but it still reads green first, not the honeyed gold note you'd expect from yellows. Compared with Motherland's settled, leafy calm, Vegas Gold feels more gold-forward and less olive-brown, with a smoother, brighter undertone.

I reach for it when the UI needs a green-family accent that won't feel flat. It works well in dashboards and logistics dashboards for status labels, filter chips, and section dividers where you want emphasis without the herb-leaf punch. On editorial workflows and publishing back-offices, it's a solid choice for callouts and tag pills because it lands crisp against light layouts, unlike Canadian Maple which carries more earth and brown weight.

Quick quirk: it can look a bit too sunlit next to cooler grays. If that happens, anchor it with a deeper olive or soft charcoal so the gold doesn't drift.
