About Pesto

Pesto is what you get when green tries to look like label ink from a pesto jar that's been under warm store lights. It's a light yellow-green, but it doesn't go full salad-leaf. Compared with , it feels cleaner and less earthy, with more lift and less "sun-warmed pigment" dust. And unlike , it reads slightly more saturated and less pudding-soft, so the shade shows up with steadier color density.

I use it when I need a friendly, readable highlight that still leans distinctly green, not mustardy. Great for CPG shelf UI and retail admin screens where category badges, batch tags, and promo tiers sit next to real greens. It also works in ecommerce product cards and logistics dashboards, especially when you want emphasis without tipping into the muted gold lane of .

Quick quirk: it can flatten beside very bright lemon tones. Pair it with a deeper olive or a warmer neutral so the green stays intentional, not washed.
