Hey Pesto

Lighter golden olive for fresh, readable charts
About Hey Pesto
"Hey Pesto" is the kind of green you see on a fresh jar label that's been sitting in store light all day: mellow, not leafy, and definitely not as yellow-forward as Hot Sand. Compared with Hippie Trail, it's tighter and cleaner, less sun-dust, with a more contained, pudding-soft brightness. And vs Brass, it reads less metallic and more like a softened pigment stain.
It's warmer than a true moss but still greener than Honey-gold accents, so it behaves like a friendly emphasis color in place of either beige or mustard. I use it for CPG shelf UI, retail price tags, and ecommerce badges where you want visibility without that "gold alert" feeling you can get from more golden yellows. On the editing side, it shows up in product tables and filter chips for consumer apps and logistics portals, especially when the adjacent colors are actual greens and you need one step brighter.
Quick quirk: because it sits mid-light with moderate saturation, it can look a little sleepy next to punchier lemon tones, so give it contrast with a deeper olive or warm neutral.
