About Peri Peri
Peri Peri is the one that reads like a fresh, hot chili red making eye contact. On my screens it lands red-forward with a clean orange base, but it feels looser and more "spicy" than Knockout's firmer stop-sign punch. Compared to Hot Lips, it's less lipstick-clean and more energetic, with more orange heat than a tight, controlled stain.
I reach for Peri Peri when the UI needs a high-attention accent that still feels human, especially in food and quick-serve ordering apps, ride-hail banners, and delivery status screens. It also works for promo headers on restaurant sites and retail category pages where you want urgency without sliding toward the deeper, official weight of Red Seal or the darker wine mood of Cherry Sangria.
Small quirk: it can start to look more red than orange on very cool grays, so I usually pair it with creams, warm sand tones, or charcoal to keep the undertone feeling properly Peri Peri.
