Warm lipstick red for readable, main UI
About Lipstick
Lipstick always reads like a freshly applied red in a studio light, not a dusty swatch and not something that's been softened at the edges. Compared to Fat Smooch's cooler, ink-on-glass vibe, this one feels more openly red, with a warmer lean and a slightly higher clarity. It also avoids Cabaret's mauve backbone, so it doesn't land as halfway-serious. And unlike Flirty Rose, it stays less rose-magenta and more true red, so the hue feels tighter and more grounded.
I use Lipstick for dashboards and checkout flows where you need a single call-to-action that pops without going pinky or wine-dark. It's great for forms in health and logistics apps when you want the primary action to look firm and readable next to neutral UI chrome. Consider it the one you reach for when your other reds are either too cool or too magenta and you want the cleanest red-first signal.
Pair it with cool grays or warm off-whites, but sanity-check against peachy surfaces since it can look even warmer there.
