Rebellion Red
#cc0404
Orange family red with rebellious heat and depth
About Rebellion Red
Rebellion Red looks like a fresh marker line laid over something louder, but it still reads as red first, not orange. Compared to Communist it doesn't feel as weighty or austere, and compared to Love Goddess it's a little less "hot letter" and more controlled. The saturation stays high, while the undertone leans slightly cooler, so it doesn't drift into ember warmth like Re-Entry Red can.
I use it when I want rebellious energy without the smear. It's great for political branding that needs punch but not heaviness, protest graphics where the red has to stay crisp on varied stock, and institutional mastheads that still need a memorable hit. On screen, it performs well in editorial work and campaign landing page UI, especially for alert-like headers and callouts inside dense layouts. It also holds up for product and event packaging where you want "stand out" that still feels disciplined.
Pair it with clean neutrals and sharp grays; throw it next to muddy browns or orange-leaning reds and it starts to look inconsistent instead of defiant.
