Vampire State Building
#cc1100
Dark brick orange-red with controlled, vampire heat
About Vampire State Building
Picture a crimson fire alarm casing in daylight, but turned a notch more orange and slightly heavier on the red side. Vampire State Building has that "drama" tone without becoming ember-soft. It reads bolder and denser than Highway to Hell, less flare and more grounded heat. Compared with Love Goddess, it feels less hot-letter intimate and more like a focused spotlight aimed at the content.
I treat it as the one you reach for when the design needs impact that still looks controlled on real screens. It's great in dashboards and finance apps when you want urgency that won't look like a bright warning wash. Use it for retail clearance tags, incident-callout headers in logistics UI, and promo badges on video thumbnails where red elements need a slightly orange-steered undertone. Compared with Rebellion Red, it stays warmer and less marker-cool, so it doesn't feel as strict.
Pair it with clean off-whites or cool grays; next to wine or brownish reds it can start to look murky fast, like the signal lost a step.
