Ice Dagger
#cee5df
Palest, cool gray for high-clarity surfaces
About Ice Dagger
Ice Dagger reads like a cool, washed-out highlight that still feels grounded. It's in the Gray family, but it's quieter and more neutral than the frostier Icelandic Winter, and it doesn't drift blue like Homoeopathic Blue. Compared with Aquatic Edge, there's no whisper of green. The mood is light and controlled, more mist than shimmer.
I use it when I want soft surfaces that don't look clinically blue and don't take on a green cast in photography. Think light-mode panel backgrounds for dashboards and finance apps, telehealth and intake screens, logistics views, and disabled states that need to stay readable without getting loud. It's the one you reach for when you need warmer than pure white calm, but still want that cool-gray restraint to keep layouts looking clean.
Quirk: it can feel a touch flatter next to brighter whites, so I like to pair it with slightly darker neutral grays to give it edges.
