Pastel Grey

Light, softly warm gray with gentle haze
About Pastel Grey
I'm looking at Pastel Grey and it reads like a lightly sanded, cool sheet of boardroom concrete. Not chalky, not near-white. And compared to Kefir, it feels a touch cleaner and more balanced, without that slightly dusted, cooler restraint. Compared to Lunar Landing, it doesn't go creamy on you. Compared to Modern Monument, it's lighter with just enough softness that it won't feel as matter-of-fact.
For me, it's the background I use for dashboards in productivity and operations tools where lots of labels and metadata need to sit quietly behind data. It also works well in marketing CMS layouts and admin interfaces for logistics or healthcare portals, especially when you want the gray to feel set but not sterile. Pair it with darker text and crisp strokes, and let photo accents stay the focus.
Quirk: because it's a softer light gray, thin borders can get shy. Give them a bit more contrast or rely on spacing and hierarchy instead of only hairlines.
