Infusion
#c8d0ca
Light cool infusion gray with calm lift
About Infusion
A pass of Infusion reads like office glass: a soft gray that stays disciplined, not airy. Compared to Flip a Coin, it feels steadier and a touch more visibly tinted, not on the razor edge. Compared to Metal, it's less "worked-on" and more gentle, but it still has enough body to avoid turning into that washed-out fog. And unlike Aquatic Edge, it avoids the green whisper and lands cooler, cleaner, and calmer.
I use it when I need a light, neutral surface that won't steal attention from the content. Think dashboards and finance apps where panels, cards, and settings screens need clarity without shouting, plus reading-heavy layouts in health tools and minimal SaaS. It's the one you reach for when you want a background that feels deliberate in daylight UIs, not clinical, not pastel, and not translucent.
Pair it with slightly deeper grays for structure. If you drop it next to pure white for too much area, it can look flatter than you intended.
