Mustard Musketeers

Mustard Musketeers looks like a paint mark that's been allowed to dry a touch longer, so the yellow turns more honeyed than banana and less muddy than the Chipmunk-style middle. Compared to Curry, it reads more golden and more grounded, with less fresh green lift and a calmer, muskier undertone. Against Espresso Crema, it feels drier and less crema-cream, more like roasted mustard than coffee foam.

I use it when the UI needs a warm accent that still stays in the green family, but with a steadier mood than those brighter yellows. Think status chips and fleet or logistics dashboards, ecommerce promo badges next to cleaner greens, and subscription UI highlights where you want attention without tipping orange. It's also a solid pick for merchandising overlays and ingredient callouts in CPG layouts.

Quirk: because it's a shade more muted than the yellow-greens nearby, it can lose punch on very cool whites, so I usually pair it with warmer neutrals or a deeper olive background to keep it legible.
