Poppy Red
#dd3845
Orange-red warmth with crisp, fuchsia-leaning edge
About Poppy Red
On my monitor, Poppy Red reads like a loud, sunlit red-orange that still has a clean edge. It's more saturated and punchy than the softer Cute Crab, but it doesn't behave like Blood of My Enemies' high-stakes cut. Compared to Anarchist, it feels less heat-driven and more "printed" and confident, with a steadier undertone that doesn't veer into combative, too-dark territory.
I reach for it in campaign graphics for retail drops, event promos, and packaging that has to pop under mixed lighting, like in grocery endcaps or street posters. In UI, it's great for call-to-action buttons and feed highlights where you want urgency with clarity, not the sharp alarm tone you get from Blood of My Enemies. It also holds up well on both light and charcoal palettes because it's warmer than pure white without turning candy-coral.
Pair it with deep neutrals (charcoal, ink blue) or crisp creams, and you'll feel the difference from those nearby reds: this one is louder, but it stays legible instead of slicing.
