Lion King
#dd9933
Sunlit golden brown for grounded, contrast notes
About Lion King
Lion King reads like ripe mango pulp that's been a little softened by shade. It's clearly yellow, but the tone leans sunny-gold with a more muted, creamy warmth, not the punch of Nuclear Mango and not the deeper metallic settle of Kingpin Gold.
Compared to Jackpot, it doesn't flare as hard. Compared to those more orange-leaning neighbors, this one stays more golden than burnt, so it feels warmer than pure white without drifting into caramel glare.
I use it for signage-style UI accents in family-focused retail, travel itineraries, and snack or cereal packaging thumbnails where you want "bright and friendly" but not "urgent." For buttons, badges, and promo callouts, it works hardest as a mid-bright highlight next to charcoal or deep brown, keeping the hierarchy clean without making adjacent yellows look washed out.
