Deep fire-red orange for urgent highlights and alerts
About Heat Signature
On my screen, Heat Signature reads like a red-orange button glow that's already burning, not just warming. It's a touch cooler and cleaner than the deeper, more alive feel of Chicken Comb, and it's less clipped than Alarm. Where those reds feel like a single temperature, this one holds a steadier heat signature: bright, high-energy, and slightly more restrained in tone.
I use it for checkout and promo CTAs in food delivery and fast-moving retail, especially when you want urgency without tipping into emergency-sticker territory. It also shows up well in streaming media thumbnails and subscription dashboards where the red needs to pop against dark UI but still feel product-forward, not medical. If you're building motion graphics, it's the the one you reach for when you need emphasis that stays readable at a glance.
Careful pairing note: on pale neutrals it can feel sharper than you expect, so I like it with off-white copy and darker grays to keep it from shouting.
