Furious Fox
#e35519
Darker ember-orange with fox-red bite for contrast
About Furious Fox
On my monitor, Furious Fox hits like a bright orange with bite, but it doesn't feel as hot or tightly "pulled" as Ferocious Fox. Compared to Flame, it has a stronger red-lean and a denser pigment, so it reads more forceful than crisp. And unlike Crunchy Carrot, it's less matte and less produce-clean, more punchy and glossy.
I use it as the one you reach for when you need a primary highlight that still feels confident, not ember-soft. It's great for dashboards and finance apps, especially for "attention now" states like alerts, live status pills, and high-priority action labels. I also like it on retail and quick-serve ordering screens for cart nudge banners, promo counters, and confirmation microcopy that needs to stand out against light surfaces.
Quirk: on very warm creams it can start to feel almost too saturated, so I'll often pair it with cooler grays or a cleaner orange-gray background to keep the edge controlled.
