Crunchy Carrot
#ea5013
More saturated carrot-orange, less ember smoulder
About Crunchy Carrot
Crunchy Carrot reads like a fresh, matte orange pulled straight from produce: less ember-glow, less flame-edge, more baked-in pigment. It's lighter and cleaner than Furious Tiger, so you get energy without that heavier, bolder punch. Compared with Hot Shot, it doesn't feel as sharp or tangerine, and it holds a steadier orange warmth instead of trending toward red heat.
This is the one you reach for when your UI needs a bright highlight that still feels grounded, not "about to warn." I use it for product cards and thumb-stopping chips in e-commerce, bright category labels in retail and grocery apps, and emphasis states in mobile banking and trading flows. It also works well for video and streaming thumbnails where you want the callout to pop, but you don't want the panic-orange vibe.
On very warm creams it can look a little chalky, so I usually pair it with either cooler grays or a slightly more saturated orange-gray background to keep it crisp and controlled.
