Hot Shot

Hot orange-red for sharp action accents
About Hot Shot
Hot Shot reads like a paint swipe of orange flame that's already "caught," not a glowing ember or a flare that's about to peak. It lands brighter and more saturated than Fiery Glow, yet it feels less sharp and less cornered than Fuego. Compared with Cigarette Glow, it has a cleaner, punchier warmth instead of that lighter, cooler ember lean. The undertone stays distinctly orange, with a decisive heat that doesn't creep toward red.
This is the one you reach for when you need an energetic primary-style accent on light UI without slipping into warning territory. I use it for app store action buttons, onboarding progress nudges, streaming playback controls, and attention badges in media and social products. It holds its personality on mid-tone panels better than the lighter ember cousins, so it stays readable without looking muted.
Quirk: on very warm creams it can feel a bit too "loud" and tangerine, so I usually balance it with cooler neutrals or a slightly desaturated orange-gray background.
