About Heavy Orange

Heavy Orange hits like a fresh splash on a white mock. It's noticeably heavier and more saturated than , so it doesn't feel "snappy-first" the way that brighter neighbor does. Compared to , it has less of that clean, flame-caught sharpness and more grounded orange weight. It's also warmer and deeper than the ember-leaning feels you get from the lighter end.

I use Heavy Orange for the times you want a primary CTA presence without leaning into the darker urgency of Baptism by . Think dashboards and product interfaces that need action clarity, fintech buttons that aren't warnings, marketplace "in stock" or "ready" states, and media apps where play-adjacent controls need to stand out fast. It reads bold on light panels, but it keeps its confidence even when the surrounding UI isn't super minimal.

Small pairing note: on pure black it can feel a bit intense, so I'll often soften it with warm grays to keep it from looking too "inked-in".
