Tomato

Fresh red-orange for crisp, tomato-like accents
About Tomato
Tomato reads like a ripe-red orange tab bar button you'd see after you tap "Add to cart". It's bright, but it doesn't float like Cascara and it doesn't feel weighty like Heavy Orange. Compared to Glowing Meteor, it's less like a highlight streak and more like a solid, confident fill. The undertone stays distinctly red-leaning, so the mood turns hot and direct instead of ember-glow.
I use it when the UI needs urgency without sinking into darker warning territory. Think dashboards and product interfaces where you want the primary control to show up instantly, plus fintech and marketplace flows for "confirm" or "pay now" states that shouldn't look like alarms. It also works well for media app CTAs that are competing with charcoal surfaces, because Tomato lands as the one you reach for when you want action clarity with a slightly red, punchy finish.
Pair Tomato with warm grays or off-whites so it stays crisp. Against pure black, the red edge can feel a touch intense, so let the surrounding neutrals do some of the work.
