Fat Gold
#e6bc00
Drier, deeper gold-green for grounded highlights
About Fat Gold
Fat Gold looks like a minted gold label on a checkout screen, but with a noticeably greener backbone. It's not the leaf-lean "fruit juice" brightness of Finger Banana, and it doesn't read metallic-olive like Goldfinger. This shade sits a little deeper and more settled, with a richer golden glow that feels warmer than straight sunshine without turning into honey or curry orange.
I use it when I need a premium accent that still plays nice with green UI backgrounds: dashboards and finance apps for totals, tier badges, and pricing callouts where the highlight should feel weighty, not crisp. It also shows up well in CPG and specialty food packaging details when the surrounding greens are fresh and you want the number to look pressed-in, not fluorescent. Compared to Curry Bubbles, it holds its gold tone longer instead of drifting toward sharper, top-of-bowl brightness.
Quirk: on very pale cool neutrals, it can shift a touch green-gold and look less "gold coin" and more "trim," so a warmer cream or sage buffer keeps it grounded. the one you reach for when the UI needs contrast that feels earned, not loud.
