Harvest Gold

Harvest Gold always looks like it has a newsroom under it. Not flashy, just purposeful, like the first sunlight you notice through blinds. Compared to Flaming June, it's a touch less buttery and more earthy, with a steadier glow. Compared to Crisps, it holds more amber and less "almost-neutral" softness. And unlike Cookie Crust, it doesn't tip into tan-brown quietness. It's noticeably more golden than a muted sand and less saturated than a true traffic light.

I use it for green family systems when the UI needs a lift without turning into mustard. Think category headers in retail grids, section badges in ecommerce dashboards, and buttons for settings and filters where you want warmth that still reads controlled. It also works as a secondary highlight in editorial templates, especially next to leafy photography, where it lands as warmer than pure white without shouting.

Quirk: on very pale backgrounds it can feel a bit richer than you expect, so I usually pair it with darker greens or charcoal to keep the tone crisp.
