Flaming June
#eebb66
Honeyed golden green, lighter than Crisps
About Flaming June
On my screen, Flaming June reads like sun-warmed butter on a slightly honeyed peach base. It's lighter than the Crisps gold-butter range, but it's not the sticker-bright orange of Fizzy Peach. Compared to French Fry, it feels rounder and more grown-up, with a gentler, less fry-yellow bite.
I reach for it when the UI needs warmth without slipping into outright alert territory: buttons for ecommerce refreshes, category chips in retail product grids, and hero-card accents in lifestyle sites. It also shows up well in Green family brand systems where you want a golden note that still looks friendly next to leafy tones, not like generic mustard. If your palette already has plenty of gold energy, this shade gives you warmer than pure white highlights that stay cohesive.
One quirk: because it sits between peach and golden daylight, it can look a touch softer beside very cool grays. Pair it with deeper olive or charcoal so it stays crisp and purposeful.
