About French Fry
A fresh take on fry-gold: French Fry is that buttery, lightly browned yellow that looks warm in a graphic mockup but doesn't go deep like honey. Compared to Bountiful Gold, it's lighter and less saturated, so it won't feel like a bold brand stamp. And next to Crisps, it keeps a touch more presence and doesn't read as near-neutral.
I use it on dashboards and SaaS interfaces when I want a warm accent for status pills, section highlights, and subtle callouts without stealing focus from charts or UI text. Editorial layouts like it for pull quotes, sidebar markers, and info badges where you need "food warmth" but still want clean hierarchy. It also holds up well in retail promo banners and e-commerce price chips, especially when paired with charcoal UI elements.
Quirk: because it's a lighter, fry-butter yellow, it can get a little flat beside very pale creams. Give it contrast with mid-gray type or darker green accents and it snaps back into place.
