Caramel Essence
#e3af64
Caramelized golden-green for softer, less chartreuse impact
About Caramel Essence
Caramel Essence is warmer and deeper than Crisps, but it doesn't have the brown undertone that grounds Cookie Crust. It sits right at that point where gold tips into amber, still light enough to feel approachable, saturated enough that it actually reads as intentional. This is the one that works harder than it looks.
Reach for it on product packaging, editorial callouts, and finance dashboards where you need warmth that doesn't feel precious or demanding. Unlike Cheesy Cheetah's brightness, this one settles into its own weight. It'll work next to charcoal, cream, and mid-tone grays without competing, but it's got enough presence that it won't disappear on busy backgrounds either.
The catch: it can read slightly cooler on very warm grounds, so check it against your actual palette before committing to large applications. Pair it with deep greens or cool neutrals and it'll show its true caramel nature. Stick it next to anything too saturated and warm, and it'll flatten fast.
