Spectacular Saffron
#edd924
High-saturation saffron highlight with warmer glow than chartreuse
About Spectacular Saffron
I keep seeing Spectacular Saffron come up like a school-lab sticky note: bright, but not fluorescent. It sits in that sweet zone where the yellow feels lighter and drier than Banana Brick, and less chartreuse than Holy Grail. Compared to Caduceus Staff, it gives up some of that dirtier warmth and turns more sunlit and clean.
For real UI work, that translates into highlights that stay friendly even when the rest of the screen is serious. I use it in dashboards and finance apps for secondary emphasis, like section chips, status pills, and quick filters where you want a nudge without turning the interface into a highlighter wall. In e-learning and admin tools, it's great for step numbers and onboarding callouts where you want visibility that feels controlled, not aggressive.
Pair it with cool grays and deep greens. On warm creams, it can start to read a bit too close to chartreuse, and then it loses that clean punch.
