Golden Fizz
#ebde31
Lighter, softer chartreuse-yellow for mellow UI
About Golden Fizz
Golden Fizz is the yellow I notice when a UI wants "sunny" but not soft. It lands bright and buttery, with a tight golden edge instead of the dusty warmth of Caduceus Staff, and it's less fruit-bowl punch than Banana Propaganda. Compared to Angel's Trumpet, this one holds more weight in the midtones, so it doesn't feel backlit or misty.
I use it for status highlights and progress steps where you need quick scanning, especially in dashboards, analytics skins, and e-commerce checkout flows. It also works well for instructional overlays on dark shells, where its lightness keeps it readable without turning into that paper-thin yellow vibe. Pair it with deep greens, charcoal, or cool grays and it stays crisp rather than turning muddy.
Quirk: on very warm creams, Golden Fizz can start to look slightly neon. If your design leans honey-toned, pull it back with a cooler neutral background.
