Yellow Buzzing

Brighter lemon chartreuse for energetic UI accents
About Yellow Buzzing
I keep seeing Yellow Buzzing in the margins of screenshots, like the trace left by a highlighter on bright paper. It's a cleaner, lighter yellow than the more earthy Caduceus Staff, and it doesn't tip into the fruit-bowl look of Banana Propaganda. Compared to those, it reads more like a fast, direct signal: brighter and more sun-forward, with a tighter, almost springy undertone.
In UI, it's great for quick scan states where you don't want gold or warmth to feel heavy, like notification badges, onboarding steps, and time-sensitive banners in consumer health dashboards. I also like it for e-commerce "limited window" messaging and logistics tracking pages where you want urgency without turning into neon. Pair it with deep greens or cool charcoals so it stays crisp and doesn't start to look washed.
Just watch the contrast on very pale creams, where this shade can feel a touch too loud next to soft whites. If the rest of the palette is honeyed, shift your background cooler or dial the yellow down.
