Mellow Melon

This one looks like a red that decided to chill halfway through the sprint. Mellow Melon sits lighter and more forgiving than the hot pink-push of Borderline Pink, and it never goes as magenta-forward as Furious Fuchsia. It also feels less heat-soaked than Bat's Blood Soup, more rounded in tone, less "right-now urgent."

I lean on it in product alerts and notification badges when I want grab without the sharp sting. It's especially handy across health interfaces where you need attention but not alarm, like triage counters, "new message" chips, and status labels in patient workflows. Compared to those other reds nearby, this shade reads more friendly and controlled at small sizes, so it doesn't bully the layout.

On very cool gray panels it can look slightly more peachy than you expect, so sanity-check against your header and empty-state backgrounds before you ship. Pair it with charcoal text and soft neutrals to keep it from drifting too playful.
