Softer coral-melon orange for warm UI highlights
About Melondrama
Melondrama reads like a bright melon slice at full daylit intensity, but it keeps its softness. Compared with Jinza Safflower, it's less golden and less reflective, more pink-orange than skin-blush. Compared with In for a Penny, it holds onto more bite and saturation, so it doesn't settle into that powdery calm. And next to Meat, it feels lighter and more playful, without getting as flesh-red.
I like this for product UI where you want warmth that looks intentional, not muted. It's a solid pick for status badges and step indicators in dashboards and finance apps, plus promo CTAs and attention-friendly banners in e-commerce. The shade also works in travel and lifestyle landing pages when you need the one you reach for to mark "tap here" without tipping into alarm tones.
Pair it carefully with other oranges and warm neutrals; against cool grays it can skew a little more pink than you expect. Test it over your actual backgrounds, not just white.
