Slippery Salmon

Lighter, cooler salmon-orange for airy alerts
About Slippery Salmon
I keep thinking of a salmon ribbon caught under bright indoor light: lively, but not fiery. Slippery Salmon sits lighter than Bonfire, with less authority and more glide. It's also readier than Smoked Salmon, because the color stays clean and wet-looking instead of turning cured and dusty. And compared to Hipster Salmon, it avoids that daylight-soft coral haze, holding a steadier orange warmth.
Use it when you need orange presence without the stoplight punch: checkout and cart micro-CTAs in ecommerce, delivery status pills in logistics apps, and step-complete highlights in SaaS onboarding. It's strong for creator platforms too, especially on cards over warm backgrounds where you want warmer-than-pure-white contrast that still feels friendly. I like the one you reach for when the UI tone is pragmatic, not dramatic, like dashboards and finance apps that still need a human pulse.
Quirk: because it's lighter and fairly saturated, it can feel too "fresh" next to brick reds; I'd ground it with charcoal or cool gray panels so it doesn't tip into candy heat.
