Groovy Giraffe
#eeaa11
Sunlit olive-gold, greener and less buttery
About Groovy Giraffe
Groovy Giraffe reads like a bright mustard-gold note that's been lifted up a level from the other greens. It's punchy, but not neon, with a warm lean that feels more sunny than bakery. Versus Cheesy Cheetah, it's a touch less "pure yellow" and less aggressively attention-grabbing, so it lands more like a targeted highlight than a shout. And compared to Golden Frame, it's livelier and lighter, less structured and more friendly.
I use it when I need a "look here" color in the messy real world: ecommerce category chips, retail promo badges, and product callouts on green-heavy packaging. It also works in CPG dashboards where you want sales or availability states to pop without dragging everything toward amber. Next to Deli Yellow, Groovy Giraffe feels warmer and more assertive, with less of that softly tinted, almost muted sunshine.
Quick caution: on very cool grays it can start to look a little louder than you intended. If you notice that, dial back contrast or pair it with creamier neutrals and let it breathe.
