High Voltage

Electric chartreuse punch over cooler gray space
About High Voltage
High Voltage is the yellow that actually looks like electricity on a screen. It's got the saturation turned all the way up but sits noticeably cooler than Banana Flash, less warmth creeping in, more pure signal. This is the one that reads as urgent without feeling warm, which changes everything about where it lands in an interface.
Use it in warning states, critical alerts, and high-contrast UI where the yellow needs to cut through immediately. Fintech dashboards when something needs your attention now. Industrial software, accessibility features, any spot where a lighter yellow like Electric Banana would disappear. It's sharp enough to work at small sizes, badges, status indicators, error states, but doesn't have the soft edge that Busy Bee brings. Against dark backgrounds it actually hums. Against light neutrals it just dominates.
Pair it carefully. It's too hot to sit next to Banana Flash without one of them looking wrong, and it'll overwhelm anything pastel. But next to a cool gray or deep charcoal, it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
