White Sand
#f5ebd8
Brighter, neutral sand gray for airy backgrounds
About White Sand
I keep noticing White Sand in mockups that feel "lightly weathered" rather than creamy. It's not as gray-cast and grounded as Mimosa, and it doesn't carry the extra beige weight that Fusilli has. Compared to Birch White, this one reads warmer and more paper-like, not just a cool, near-neutral that vanishes next to true white.
Use it where you want brightness without turning the page into loud parchment: typography-heavy product pages, documentation hubs, and layout backgrounds for publishing that need to stay calm for long reads. It also works in UI surfaces for SaaS and content libraries, where you want photography to sit naturally and type contrast to stay crisp. I like it when the interface needs to feel tidy, not soft.
Quirk: on very warm displays it can drift a touch toward honey sand, so I treat it like a "check-before-you-ship" background when the rest of the theme is cool.
