About Vapour Trail
Pull up a screenshot where the UI background should disappear, and you'll feel Vapour Trail do it. It's not as nearly-white as Paper White, and it doesn't lean creamy like Béchamel. Compared to Fresh Snow, this one still reads as clearly gray, just with a softer presence.
I reach for it in editorial layouts and SaaS dashboards and publishing platforms when the page needs breathing room but the typography can't lose contrast to a warm tint. It's a cool, low-saturation light gray that stays restrained, so charts, tables, and captions look clean without the page feeling "blank white." Pair it with medium-weight type and deeper charcoal for crisp hierarchy.
One note: because it's light and cool, it can make warm brand photography look a touch flatter than on the warmer neighbors. I usually sanity-check it alongside the real images before committing to big panels.
