Flamboyant Flamingo
#f74480
Lively rose-magenta red, not infrared heat
About Flamboyant Flamingo
I keep picturing Flamboyant Flamingo as a red that's wearing a playful pink jacket. It's more light and creamy than Chinese New Year's in-your-face punch, and it doesn't go smooth-bubble like Diva Pink. Compared to Infrared, it's less sharp and heat-flare urgent. The undertone here feels distinctly rosy, so it reads friendly even when you're trying to get attention.
In UI, I use it for CTA buttons and "pay attention" moments where you want energy without that traffic-light intensity. Think ad-tech dashboards, retail campaign controls, and customer support queues where an item needs action but shouldn't feel like an alarm. It also works nicely for onboarding nudges and featured-media labels in streaming and media ops, especially in dense layouts where softer reds hold up better.
One quirk: on very warm surfaces, it can lean even more pink and start to feel more "highlight" than "alert," so I'd test it next to your other alert reds before swapping it for Infrared.
