Lilac Lotion

Soft cool lilac-pink red for calm UI accents
About Lilac Lotion
I think Lilac Lotion looks like a red button that got softened under a frosted light. You still read it as family Red, but it doesn't carry the same tech edge as Cyberpink or the bubblegum ease of Diva Pink. It's also less rosy and creamy than Flamboyant Flamingo, so it feels more composed than playful.
For UI work, this is my go-to when you want attention without the "red alert" momentum. The shade sits in that sweet spot of lighter value and a slightly cooler, lilac-leaning undertone, which keeps it from turning cherry-orange on brighter themes. I like it for notification pills in patient portals and claims dashboards, subtle error-prep and confirmation states in healthcare and fintech, and emphasis labels in media ops where you need action cues to stay calm over long sessions. It's the one you reach for when you're building dashboards and finance apps that can't afford frantic warmth.
Pair it with clean near-whites or soft grays; on heavy cream it can drift toward a more lavender-highlight vibe.
