Unicorn Dust
#ff2f92
Soft hot-pink glow with balanced, airy lift
About Unicorn Dust
Unicorn Dust looks like hot pink caught in a fine, airy haze. It's red-family, but it's not as lilac-cooled as Lilac Lotion, and it doesn't carry that sign-neon pressure like Fluorescent Pink. Compared to Prickly Pink, it feels a touch softer in the punch while staying unmistakably red-pink.
I use it as a mid-light, high-saturation accent when you want the UI to feel current without turning frantic. It's my pick for CTAs in retail and e-commerce campaigns, status badges in healthcare portals, and "priority" highlights in claims and underwriting dashboards where the system needs to stay legible over long review screens. You can also lean on it for media controls and streaming app prompts when you want attention but not that harsher magenta edge.
Pair it with off-white backgrounds or clean cool grays; pure cream can make it drift more rosy than you expect.
