Pink Panther
#ff0090
Deep magenta-pink for softer, denser Red accents
About Pink Panther
I keep seeing Pink Panther as the pink that looks like it has a little punch behind it, not just surface brightness. It's a clean red-pink with sharper saturation than the softer neon lane, but it doesn't drift into the magenta-leaning attitude of Fancy Fuchsia. Next to Hot Pink and Fluorescent Pink, it feels more controlled and less glare-y, like it's lit by a steady light instead of a sign.
This is the shade I use for dashboards and finance apps when the brand already has pink accents and you want a primary action that stays clearly in the red family. Think mobile checkout buttons, subscription banners, and media controls where the one you reach for when the UI needs emphasis that reads fast without turning overly "hot" or too fuchsia. It also works well for notification chips and status tags in fintech screens.
Quirk: keep it off very warm backgrounds unless you're ready for it to feel like the loudest element on the row. Pair with deep charcoal type so it doesn't steal the whole hierarchy.
