Fluffy Duckling
#fcdf39
Mellow duck-yellow chartreuse for calm, legible highlights
About Fluffy Duckling
Fluffy Duckling looks like a soft daylight spill on a page, the kind of yellow that feels cottony and easy on the eyes. Compared to Emoji Yellow's sharp badge energy and Cheese It Up's cozy glow, this one is lighter and gentler, with less "sticker punch" and more of a back-seat warmth. It's also not as airy as Angel's Trumpet. Fluffy Duckling reads brighter and more saturated, so it doesn't float.
I use it for UI moments where you want to nudge attention without sounding urgent: promo carousels in retail, onboarding highlights in consumer apps, and playful chemistry or kids learning screens. It's great for subtle callouts on white, especially for charts and micro-labels in media and food platforms where you want the one you reach for when the rest of the palette is calm. Think status pills, step indicators, and "new" tags that shouldn't feel loud.
Pair it with crisp dark grays and clean greens so the shade stays crisp instead of milky, and keep it to small blocks if you're working under heavy shadows.
