About Banana Pepper

Banana Pepper is what happens when you strip the authority out of and the whisper out of Angel's Trumpet. It's brighter than but less ethereal than Angel's Trumpet, a yellow that actually sits in the middle of the room without apology, neither fading into the background nor demanding you look at it. There's a crispness to it, almost like it's been bleached slightly, which keeps it from feeling as warm or golden as its deeper neighbors.

You'll land it in product dashboards, health and wellness apps, and lighter-themed SaaS interfaces where you need something friendly but not precious. It's the yellow for secondary buttons, notification badges, and UI accents that work on both white and soft gray backgrounds without needing extra padding to settle. Food delivery apps, education platforms, task management tools, anywhere warmth matters but you're not trying to command presence. It works harder than Angel's Trumpet because it has more saturation, but it doesn't carry the weight does.

The trick: pair it with white and it stays clean. Pair it with mid-tone grays and it glows just enough. But push it onto darker backgrounds and it starts to feel thin, like it's washing out. That's when you know you've picked the wrong yellow for the job.
