Yellow Tang
#ffd300
Saturated pure yellow, sharper than chartreuse accents
About Yellow Tang
A sticky-note yellow that leans just enough green to feel clean, not buttered. Yellow Tang reads slightly lighter and more even than Inca Yellow, so it doesn't blur into a soft buttery haze. Compared to Cyber Yellow it's less electric and less sterile, with a gentler, more grounded warmth. Next to Mamba Yellow, it holds a rounder balance and avoids that heavier highlighter feel that can push too hard.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps when you need emphasis that stays friendly on white and light gray. Think tier chips, "next action" badges, and status dots that should look first-class without feeling like an attention-grabbing warning. It also works well in retail media overlays for SKU highlights and promo labels where you want visibility that still fits the Green palette.
Quirk: on very saturated greens, Yellow Tang can look a touch flat. A slightly darker green border or richer text color usually snaps it back.
