Dandelion

Pale warm yellow-green for subtle focus states
About Dandelion
Picture a ripe dandelion head held up against a bright sky, then remember it's never that full-on orange. Dandelion lands as a clean, sunny yellow that's lighter and more hydrated than Candlelight, with a less golden, less "burnt wick" warmth. It also reads less lemon-snap than Emoji Yellow, because the undertone is slightly greener and smoother, not crisp and candy-coated.
On a UI mockup, it behaves like a soft spotlight rather than a poster sticker. I use it for dashboards and finance apps where you need attention without the harshness of the punchier yellows, and for retail design systems that want cheerful highlights in cards, chips, and featured module headers. It's also a good fit for food and media thumbnails when you want "fresh from the field" energy but not the sharp alarm feel those brighter accents can bring.
Pair it with olive, cocoa charcoal, or off-white so the edges stay readable. Let it be the accent, not the background, or it starts looking a bit washed compared to the stronger neighbors.
