Incision
#ff0022
Sharper scarlet-red slash for critical incision marks
About Incision
Incision reads like a red stamp that got yanked brighter and a touch more orange, right before it starts to feel playful. It's not the hotter, saturated punch of British Phone Booth, and it doesn't settle into the flare-like containment of Danger. Hornet Sting is cleaner and lighter, almost stripey. This one feels more like a tight cut of color: dense, high-signal, and slightly higher-energy than a standard warning red.
I use Incision for UI states where you need decisive "act now" contrast without drifting toward neon. Think manufacturing quality triage, logistics exceptions, and retail promo CTAs that sit above dense product grids. It also works well on live-event moderation screens and streaming overlay buttons where you want urgency that stays readable at speed.
Pair it with near-white or very light gray so the orange undertone stays forward; on deep charcoal it can start to look heavier and less surgical.
