RedЯum
#ff2200
Hot orange-red with brighter lift than Scarlet
About RedЯum
On my screen it lands between cherry-red authority and orange heat, but with a slightly smoky edge. RedЯum feels more deliberate than the brighter stop-ish tones: less like a flare, more like a lit status indicator that's been tuned to stay readable. The undertone leans orange, yet it doesn't go as ripe as Maraschino, and it's not as "straight fire door" warm as Scarlet.
I use it for high-priority callouts where you want urgency that still reads controlled in dense interfaces. Think dashboards and finance apps for incident banners, threshold breaches, and verification steps in logistics and shipping control rooms. Compared to Red Riding Hood, it keeps more orange personality, so it's less strict-red and less fruit-authoritative, more "operator attention" than "compliance certainty."
Pair it with cool grays or near-whites so the orange undertone doesn't start competing with nearby oranges in your palette. If you stack it next to the hotter Scarlet, keep spacing and let RedЯum lead.
