Magma
#ff4e01
Heat-drenched orange with deeper, less playful smoke
About Magma
Magma lands like a fresh flare that's already cooled at the edges. It's still loud orange, but it doesn't tip into the crisp, friendlier lift of Orange Clown Fish, and it doesn't carry that deeper, red-leaning burn of Inferno Orange. Compared with Dragon's Fire, Magma feels hotter in tone and more ember-tight, with a denser center instead of a cleaner, controlled heat.
I use it for checkout moments and hero promos in retail and food ordering when I want a CTA that grabs attention fast, but with less "warning heat" than the neighbors that read closer to danger. It also works well for mobile commerce banners, streaming app purchase tiles, and product badges where you need the button to feel the one you reach for when the layout is otherwise neutral.
Pair it with dark charcoal or cool gray text so it stays orange-forward. On warm creams, it can start to look a little scorched and more brown than you intended.
